Supervised Counseling
Dr. Brad Hinman, a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) with advanced doctoral-level training, brings extensive experience to the supervision of Limited License Counselors (LLCs). His supervision meets Michigan’s requirements for approved supervisors under Administrative Rule R 338.1757.
As a clinical supervisor, Dr. Hinman provides structured feedback and mentorship through case reviews, consultation, and professional development. Areas of focus include building clinical skills, improving assessment and documentation, and navigating complex client needs. Supervision is tailored to each counselor’s growth while upholding the highest ethical and professional standards—ensuring safe, effective care for clients and meaningful progress for new clinicians.
Supervisees are expected to:
Maintain accurate logs of direct and indirect counseling hours.
Adhere to the ethical codes of the American Counseling Association and the American Psychological Association.
Comply with the Michigan Public Health Code and administrative rules set by the Michigan Board of Counseling and Michigan Board of Psychology.
Arrive on time, prepared, and engaged for all scheduled supervision sessions.
Rates:
Individual supervision: $80 for a 50-minute session
Group supervision: $60 per person for a 90-minute session
