Supervised Counseling
Dr. Brad Hinman is a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) with advanced doctoral-level training and extensive experience in the supervision of Limited License Counselors (LLCs). His supervision meets the Michigan Administrative Rule R 338.1757 guidelines for approved supervisors, effective January 1, 2013.
As a clinical supervisor, Dr. Hinman provides regular, structured feedback through case reviews, consultation, and professional development. Areas of focus may include skill-building, client assessment, progress notes, and navigating unique clinical issues. Supervision is tailored to support growth while maintaining high ethical and professional standards.
Supervisees are expected to:
Maintain accurate logs of direct and indirect counseling hours.
Stay compliant with the ethical codes of the American Counseling Association and American Psychological Association.
Follow the laws of the Michigan Public Health Code and administrative rules set by the Michigan Board of Counseling and Michigan Board of Psychology.
Arrive on time, prepared, and engaged for all scheduled supervision sessions.
Rates:
Individual supervision: $80 for a 50-minute session
Group supervision: $60 per person for a 90-minute session
